Thief class when?

I like where you going with this, but sadly I do not think this will ever happen. SE has stated that the Rogue class is also a "Thief". It already has many of the skills that a Thief class would have(when looking at other Final Fantasy games).

Well, I'd it expected it to be implemented as an alternative rogue advanced class. You could turn into either a ninja or a thief and have the rogue abilities on both. This would replace mudras with whatever thief stuff made sense.

The same could be done for all classes. Honestly I don't know why there is only 1 advanced class per base class. Why even call them something different if you have no choices?

Hmm, well they could add it as another Job option for Rogue, like how Arcanist has two job options. I like the cut of your jibb

They don't want to do this. That's why they opted not to add classes for the new jobs. Yoshi has stated regret for splitting arcanist into two jobs since the release of 2.1 so it's unlikely that this would happen.
