    Dark Knight Balance Idea

    I'm sitting here at work in the waxing gloom over all the new DRK bugs. While a PLD main for my static, I am so bored I've been really hoping to switch. Any hope I had evaporated. I'm sure bugs will still be taken care of, but not in time for Alex. So I got thinking about other complaints that have arisen about DRK and how to fix them. Namely perceived squishiness, lack of utility, wonky evasion/parry, and relative TP starvation

    My ideas to change are:
    1) Change Dark Dance to an Evasion-only buff.

    2) Change crossclass to GLA and LNC: Provoke, Conva, Invig, Keen Flurry, and either Awareness or B4B depending on situation.

    3) Shorten Reprisal's cd so it can potentially stay on boss at all times (eliminate stacking with Storm's Path for balance)

    4) Add Blunt vuln to Delirium.

    5) Add a Dark Arts buff to Shadow Wall that either gives it Sentinel's power or Vengeance's duration.

    Thoughts? Other ideas?

    I can mostly agree with what you said, except Dark Dance. Increase it's parry rate with DA, or add a damage reduction buff maybe? But we want that extra parry, not to remove it.

    And I'm seriously wondering why they made Delirium the way they did. Just make DRK blunt damage and add blunt to it, its not like MNK's are using blunt weapons as is =\. I'm sure the MNKs would love not having to use Dragon Kick all the time as well.

    There's also very little use from MRD's cross class abilities right now either. We've got soul eater, and out own execute. Only decent move is foresight. Invig and Keen flurry would have helped a lot more. Blood for blood would have been interesting as well.

    yeah i can get behind keeping Dark Dance is a parry-related ability only. the evasion would then just have to go. It could remain an evasion rate, and Dark Arts would allow it to break the percent cap on parry strength. Then Keen Flurry could just be an additional Reprisal bait move.

    You realize that cutting dark arts' cost by 50% means that each syphon strike will recover more mp than the arts mp cost?
    This will throw all the amount of challenge the class has to offer down to the toilet.
