I had to facepalm over someone who said "but all my attacks under WM seem so much bigger!" Yes, they are 20% bigger, and that multiplies when you pile on your damage buffs like Raging Strikes, Blood for Blood, etc.

What you're NOT seeing is the missing auto attacks that are no longer adding in an extra 400-500 damage every five or so seconds, which would also shoot up to 600+ under Raging Strikes and BFB.

That's why bards who don't parse are all like "wm is fine you're just bad" and the bards who do parse are like "uhhhhh"

It's now also a bit harder to sneak in the off GCD damage stuff with the cast time. A very good, totally lag free bard can still do it, but it is a heck of a lot harder with WM.

Not even. I dont parse and can tell the DPS is lower. My own tests included fighting the same mobs repeatedly from full health, no SS buff at the beginning, using only Barrage as a buff, and no kiting. Only moving when avoiding a special attack. They not only obviously took longer to kill under WM but naturally live long enough to do that much more damage to me before dying. Ironically it was around 20% more damage instead of the other way around as WM would have you believe.

MAYBE the new moves would change that at higher levels but given that the WM buff is not actually an actual "buff" tells me that even if higher level abilities like Sidewinder and Empyrial Arrow (sp?) do help, its only because they are locked behind the use of WM itself.
