So...about those new card drop rates

I have won nearly 100 matches against multiple new NPCs and all I have gotten is a Galicat card (1 star). Have others gotten any other new cards from the new NPCs? or do I just have the worst luck in the world?

At this point, I'm starting to doubt their existence...

Card drops do seem quite low.

Though don't take my word for too much. I have abnormally bad luck in this game.

Only cards I've gotten are from trials or dungeons (Griffin and Bismarck currently). No luck with any of the new npcs.

The tradeoff for a low drop rate is due to the fact that you don't lose any cards when you lose a game a'la ff8.

A: How do you lose in FF8? You've got a deck of powerful cards from Disc 1, all of which are the only copies of said cards in the world. Everyone else has 4 trash cards and one decent card you can swipe. It's like the inverse of FFXIV triple triad.

B: And on the rare occasion you lose to a regional rule... you just reload your save file from before you lost the card.

The drop rates from new NPCs is so horrendous, I'm not even sure if some of them have cards to drop. Thank goodness there are websites with that data, so I don't have to play the game to find out. Hmm.

Old NPCs' drop rates aren't close to being this low, with the exception of select 4/5 star cards. But trying to get even a 2 or 3 star card with the new NPCs seem nearly impossible now

The Drop Rate I felt like it was lower then 2.x I've farmed all the 3.0 cards now except Bismark so far. Most of the time it took a couple windows of almost fully winning the matches before I got the cards. I know Aymeric took me almost a full day alone to farm when Uldah was on Reverse making the NPC that dropped him very easy to win against.

I don't mind the lower % when it's only 20 new cards with about half of them only obtainable from NPCs compared to the larger quantity of 80 when it was first released

I can deal with the low drop rates, I however can NOT deal with the rotation times in which some NPCs will even play you ontop of their stupid random/chaos rules.
