GameStop Exclusive Dragons of Ishgard Fabric Banner Pre-Order Bonus

Hi I pre-ordered the Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward standard edition for PS4 at one of my local GameStops, and I picked the game up on release day at midnight when the game was very first available to pickup. I was told several weeks ago or a month before the game came out at the time when I pre-ordered the game for my PS4 that I was supposed to receive a fabric banner, I guess it's kind of like a cloth poster or something that is supposed to have the Dragons Of Ishgard on it. Well when I arrived to my local GameStop at about 11:40PM on the night of June 22nd, the store was already open, and had probably been open for at least 30 minutes before I arrived or it never closed after regular hours lol. Anyways when I asked them about the Fabric Banner/Cloth Poster while they were getting the game to hand to me, they said oh we're getting the fabric banners in late. I went back around 4 or 5pm the same or next day on June 23rd and they still hadn't gotten them at the store yet. So I just called them on the phone on Wednesday June 24th instead, and didn't even bother to go back up there again for what ended up being the same no we don't have it still answer lol. They still didn't have the fabric banner on Wednesday when I called them, and today was Thursday June 25th and when I called them earlier, they yet again still hadn't received these fabric banners yet. It even said on the GameStop product website for Heavensward I was supposed to get one of these fabric banners exclusive only to people who pre-ordered from GameStop. Where is my fabric banner with the Dragons Of Ishgard on it I'm supposed to get from GameStop? Why tell me I'm going to get something GameStop and then ya'll don't receive the item or even try to get the item sent to your store on time. Please tell me someone reading or someone who finds this post has pre-ordered their copy of Final Fantasy: Heavensward from GameStop. Please let me know if you pre-ordered Heavensward from GameStop, and if you picked your pre-ordered copy up at midnight or any time on the Release Date day of June 23rd. Did anyone else receive one of these Fabric Banners for pre-ordering Heavensward? Is my GameStop the only one saying they do not have these and are supposed to get them, but late and they don't know when they will arrive. This makes me kind of mad, I really like posters and really would like to get this Fabric Banner I was already supposed to receive on launch day at midnight. Did the GameStop you pre-ordered your copy of Heavensward from not have the Fabric Banners yet either like mine? What if they are lieing to me and aren't ever going to receive the Fabric Banners. Btw I live in Texas, so it's a GameStop here in Texas that didn't have the fabric banners at Heavenwards release and still doesn't have them 2 or 3 days after.

I picked mine up on release day from my gamestop and they had my banner. This is in California.

I pre-ordered from GameStop as well here in Pennsylvania. An did not get my banner either. The guy said he hadn't seen any come in but would call me if they did. Still no call so I'm guessing they haven't. That banner was the only reason I bothered to get a physical copy from GameStop. =/ Very disappointed. I had really wanted that banner since I didn't have the money for a physical collector's edition.

It's very common for game stop employees to steal these items for themselves or to sale online.

This is one of the reasons I hate GameStop, Targets exclusive items usually come inside game boxes.

I work at GameStop, and they sent us way too many banners at my location. The next day they emailed us, having us ship them to other stores (including ones in Texas). So it is possible the banner you were allocated was at my store, and I sent it to yours.

Yeah, a little messed up. I almost ended up with 5 of them because the inner and outer packaging didn't appear to be labeled at all. Some sort of sticker which said the pack contained 5 items and needed to be opened and split up would have helped that out. Not sure what I would have done with 5 banners, wouldn't want anyone to lose theirs because I ended up with 5.

Ok thanks for the info. I will call my GameStop later on today, and see if they have them yet. Hopefully they have some still in stock, and haven't given them all away yet. They said when I called them the other day, that they would call me when and they got the fabric banners in, and they didn't ask for my phone number so I just said ok and hung up the phone, and the phone number I give them at the store that is on my account is an old cell phone number I used to have that I don't use anymore, I just tell them it so my purchases and or rewards points go onto my GameStop account.
