It made me sad and cry little when the killed off Lady Iceheart. Hope they don't kill off Y'shtola any time soon.
A bit nerdy, but I grew more attached to my character and other characters throughout Heavensward than I did in A Realm Reborn.
Regarding the narration I thought it was strange how they decided to do that, because none of the story before had it. I also didn't like how nearly every single one ended with "... they came." Overall I'm kinda on the fence about that system. On the one hand it's nice to preview and talk about a new area once you enter it. I guess I just didn't like the delivery.
Well we pretty much have been given at LEAST 3 cliffhangers about where the story is going next. We already know for a fact that one of them is Alexander, as that was already officially revealed months ago.
There is actually 5 cliffhangers if you remember that we have yet to...
SPOILER
Capture Ilberd and the Crystal Brave that betrayed us. Not to mention he did say something about giving up anything to save Ala Mhigo.
and
The Garlean Empire has a operation Flagship once again which once fully operation will most likely start another Garlean Empire invasion of Eorzea and this time we won't have a Massive Dragon taking it down for us.
Both of these cliff hangers seem to point towards Ala Mhigo as the new possible story for a part of 3.X or 4.0 storyline.
Yeah the Heavensward story AND music is great so far! (Im at lv57 quests)
Nothing makes me skip.
Just info: I have start to skip every FF:ARR story-scene from titan quest on. <-<
Because... TO much blah-blah-no1-cares! >.<
the Ul'dah part was kinda disappointing to me. The rest was great though.
Felt like reliving a classic final fantasy story.

The scene after finishing the Vault was pretty powerful...
Heavensward story made me feel like I was on an adventure with my little gang like in previous FF games, rather than being everyone's errand boy.
