Regarding the narration I thought it was strange how they decided to do that, because none of the story before had it. I also didn't like how nearly every single one ended with "... they came." Overall I'm kinda on the fence about that system. On the one hand it's nice to preview and talk about a new area once you enter it. I guess I just didn't like the delivery.

I personally cannot wait to see where the story continues...

Well we pretty much have been given at LEAST 3 cliffhangers about where the story is going next. We already know for a fact that one of them is Alexander, as that was already officially revealed months ago.

Yeah the Heavensward story AND music is great so far! (Im at lv57 quests)
Nothing makes me skip.

Just info: I have start to skip every FF:ARR story-scene from titan quest on. <-<

Probably because the game had a dozen "endings" chained back to back, similar to Return of the King.

Capture Ilberd and the Crystal Brave that betrayed us. Not to mention he did say something about giving up anything to save Ala Mhigo.

The Garlean Empire has a operation Flagship once again which once fully operation will most likely start another Garlean Empire invasion of Eorzea and this time we won't have a Massive Dragon taking it down for us.

Both of these cliff hangers seem to point towards Ala Mhigo as the new possible story for a part of 3.X or 4.0 storyline.

the part where we learn Y'shtola is slowly dying now due to using the Aether to see makes me worried that she may be killed off in 3.X or 4.0 Storyline.

The most interesting thing about her story was how it perfectly explains how she got into Dissidia.

They did an incredible job with the story this time around. 1.0 and ARR both suffered from featuring generally "meh" characters, imo. No one really stood out as anyone I could call a favorite in the series. They were just people in questionable gear that served to provide exposition.

Totally turned it around this time. The characters were distinct with strong development. The scene in Azys Lla with Lady Stoneheart completely blew my mind - the music, the direction, voice acting, everything about it was totally epic. I showed it to someone who doesn't even play the game, and even they teared up.

Great job! All I can hope for is that they maintain this quality, and we don't fall into another series of sleep-inducing patches like post-ARR.
