I keep telling myself that all these things that they are adding can be simple and easy to accomplish because maybe they are required for the content they PLAN on producing later might be hard?

But they just keep making everything easy and I die a little inside each patch.

They made leve party give little money/EXP and told us that just for casual but still no other way to LEVEL. now the new patch allowing us to powerlevel each other? really ? if SE think they can fix things the easy way i think they should rethink ever releasing this game to PS3.

FFXIV fanbase would be FFXI making this easy mode to get wow players wont help much. FFXI players would be there main income for both games. If they can make this FFXIV and not wow or ffxi2.0 then i think we can get more players but w/e SE think they know what there doing.

Perhaps you should, I dunno, try reading the posts you're responding to? Here's what I wrote:

If you haven't done every existing company quest - including DH - you can't even get 3k guild marks. And if you do, that's the vast majority of your marks.

Most players haven't ran DH successfully three different times. Into the Dark gives 4k seals; without doing that (for which you need an R45 char and a bunch of other people to do it with you) you can't get the 3k you need to get the Chocobo.

So, you are perfectly incorrect. And not only that, but I would submit that it's only 'a joke' to you because you've played way too much of this game. Do you honestly expect content to be developed centered around what would be challenging to someone who has r50 in tons of different jobs? Please.

SP chains and mobs calling for reinforcements in the next patch ought to speed leveling up outside of doing Leves tremendously.

I have to say... Every single post from Murugan was infuriatingly ignorant and elitist. You have no concept of what a casual game even is. You just spew off all these completely negative stereotypes of what a casual gamer is. Casual games still have difficult content, just the ratio between fun things and just plain hard things is more to the fun things.

You want to know my stereotypes of you and people like you? Nerds, no life. Anyone who has hours a day to spend on a video game, ESPECIALLY one in the state that FFXIV is in has no life period. FFXIV is going to be marketed to those who have a few hours to spend here and there, and maybe get a good chunk of time to play on the weekend. I.E. leves, 1 hr dungeons, etc. You should seriously just quit the game and stop posting, because I'm tired of your condescending remarks. I hope you enjoyed wasting hours of your life with /playtime in ffxi. I know I regret most of my hardcore gaming days.

FFXIV is casual enough so that 90% of the people who play can enjoy the game. The game will never be balanced around the top 10% who play way too much anyways. So please gtfo of here with your self-centered ideas and just plain asinine remarks.

The problem I see with this debate is that all the content we had so far should be have present from the start.

It'd be useless to have hardcore content when battle algorythms are changing, classes are unbalanced, materia will be unbalanced at start and jobs aren't out yet.

Just think of your char and your progression as a bonus. You get the advantage of being one step ahead and having access to everything, but you lost progression, difficulty and achievement feelings since all these "landmarks" weren't there on your road to 50.

They can do the caravan repeat a few times at rank 25.

It might even take them DAYS.
