    A potion that enables you to survive a hit or two until the healer is able to give you some loving saves that healer the MP of a revive cast + prevents you from getting a dps loss from weakness.

    Now, I thought the whole reason potions only scale up to a certain HP value was specifically SO they could introduce new alchemy formulas and keep them relevant. The massive number of X-potions cluttering my inventory from level 60 content and treasure maps suggests they forgot to do this. Maybe the guy designing the alchemy update for 3.0 tested a sleep potion on himself or something.

    I carry stat boosters and antidotes around (in case of Brayflox in roulette) but the HP/MP pots are useless. The early ones should just be flat restores of certain amounts and later ones should be uncapped but lower percentage restores.

    As White Mage I use pots in emergencies when I'm out of MP, and both Shroud and Assize are on cooldown. They're hardly useless, but it would be nice with more potent pots.

    Very useful as I worked myself through Bismarck Ex with a Scholar off-heal that was helping with the dps, as an example...

    The pots recover a percentage of your max hp/mp... up to a cap.

    stat cap exist to make sure that players use potions and food that fit to their levels, not just the strongest in the market.
    A X-potion is for a lv10 player not as good as a potion at lower rank.
