You really can't compare single player RPGs to MMOs. Something that restores all health and mana would be just a tad broken.Personally I would NOT like to see new potion items such as "Draconian Potion" or "XX-Potion".
I like this idea better. They should buff existing potions and at least ease up if not remove the maximum limits. I dislike this feature on Food as well, but at least there we have other options. With HP/MP, we have no choice. X-Potion and X-Ether do not restore enough, and Hi-Elixir has a ridiculous cooldown timer. I miss the old days in previous Final Fantasy games where Elixirs were elite items only to be used in emergencies. I guess those days are long gone.
I'm more prefer with Regen portion.

Meh those potion is useless, especially those CD that same with WHM's Benediction CD but only gives little amount of HP and short time of buff.

I carry stat boosters and antidotes around (in case of Brayflox in roulette) but the HP/MP pots are useless. The early ones should just be flat restores of certain amounts and later ones should be uncapped but lower percentage restores.

I've played games where recovery items were based on Max HP%. Wonder if it could work in this game.

As White Mage I use pots in emergencies when I'm out of MP, and both Shroud and Assize are on cooldown. They're hardly useless, but it would be nice with more potent pots.
Very useful as I worked myself through Bismarck Ex with a Scholar off-heal that was helping with the dps, as an example...
