Tips on leveling second job to 60?

Any thoughts on this. I want to level my WHM now but kind of lost on what to do.

Quickest way? Fate grinding in Northern Thanalan to 51/52, then do dungeon grinding. There really is no other viable option imo, since the Fates in the new areas give crap EXP...

I leveled my SCH to 56 , then my static had me switch jobs for raid and I had to take a Tank from 50-56 with not even a side quest needless to say fate grinding in Churning or North Than makes leveling easy especially with the new bonus for 60s I believe so you should have no problem work in some dungeon runs i.e Vault and Library and you' ll be there in no time

also....High and Low roulette give about 200k per exp so yeah but you wont get your law bonus

I don't have a level 60 yet but I colevel 2 classes with roulettes, sidequests, dungeon runs and daily hunts. Alone doing roulettes and hunts is 50% of a level at currently 57 (57,5 and 57,8).
If you want/need to do FATEing its sadly still Northern Thanalan for best XP (Dark Devices). Good is if you have someone that levels along because DF can too easily piss you over if you only run alone
Sadly till some adjustments in XP gain its a pure grind.
GL and if you need a break from the grind TAKE IT

The first tip i would give is give up any notion of being 60 in a week or less.

The only other tips i can give is:
-Level 1, 2 and 3 Hunts awards around 500k xp. Get a friend to help you with the higher level ones, i dont believe they're level locked but haven't tested yet. The XP rewards may also be affected by Armory bonuses, pushing that total up to near 750k.
-Roulettes! Do High Level and Low Level every day, that should net you about another 400~k xp per day.
-FATEs. Some of the bigger FATEs i've done have award 40 - 60k xp, while being part of a chain of 2 to 3 other FATEs giving 20k each. Armory Bonus again here, making it very good XP.
-Standard Dungeon Farm. Be Queued while doing FATEs and Hunts. Do not forget FC Buffs and food
-Temple Leves. The XP here is also affected by Armory Bonus, and may be buffed in the near future, as Square probably did not want to accidentally make Temple Leves the best leveling course for a first Job.

That's all i have for you. Just abandon any expectations of a rapid rise to 60.

I just got my WHM to 60 and my SCH is currently 52. This is my plan now that I've gone through it once, and it mimics what many have suggested already.

-Do at least your High Level, Trial, and Low Level DR for the EXP bonus.
-Do your Rank 1, 2, and 3 Daily Hunts - this is worth about 1/9th a level in a single day.
-Dungeon GRIND. The EXP in the new HW dungeons is very high. I did MSQ from fresh 59 to the level block at 60 put me at about 1/4 of my level - I was able to get the remaining 3/4 in about 6-7 Library runs with rested EXP.

I have been leveling my Dragoon through the story, but also other than the first weekend of early access, have been doing the high and low level roulettes on my White Mage. Guildhest roulettes too. As a result my Dragoon is now lv57, but White Mage is also halfway to 54. It seems like Dungeon Grinding even once roulette bonuses are done will be the best way to level. Although doing so on a DPS probably will be a little more annoying with the queue times.

Also I have a feeling that FATEs might pick up once more and more people unlock flying in every zone and start working on second jobs. Boosting the FATE exp a little would be nice too. FATEs giving 20k exp when you need 3 million to level makes them not worth the effort right now.

The armory bonus does nothing for them, but you get an exp nerf for doing them higher level than your job. Not sure about exp below 53, but at 53 all of them give the same level 1 exp, about 24k. I'm guessing at 56 level 2 and 3 get boosted to ~28k each, then 59 to get the full exp of level 3. You still get full seals though, and 350k+ exp a lot quicker than any other way I've found in the game.
