What class are you looking forward to?

Blue Mage.

Though, I'd also like to see a mage role that's also in the Tank role. It would unconventional to be sure. I'm thinking a Green Mage similar to the green mages of FFTA2, who used hammers. Their magic was low, but they had plenty of MP to for buff spells.

What do you think a Dancer would use weapon wise?

Not looking forward to it but I think puppet master would fit in well with all the mammets.

Dancer would probably be a dps with an aoe buff since dps have that and a small aoe heal basically ineffectual. Dancer was by far the funnest job after I had comeback to 11 after 5 years away.

How about some new / unique to ffxiv classes? I Was thinking along the lines of like

Pirate / Swashbuckler.

]Dual Wields a Sword and a Gun. (Might use both str and dex to determine damage as well as offer some utility) Originating from Limsa.

A Hunter

Originating from Dravania. Uses Pet's in combat. May start with a chocobo and eventually get a Dragon.

A Mage who focuses more on the upkeep of their body along with the manipulation of magic. Probably a class that stems from Manderville lol.

Samurai, I really really want it to be a DPS, so I can finally have a DPS favorite class to use, the others just don't do it for me. But I'll take it as a tank, seeing as I'm a tank, and love that role. And Assassin from Final Fantasy Tactics. With all or if not most of its skills, it was such a good class you never got to use (Unless you had a gameshark, and I know this is more wishful thinking). Blue Mage, that would be my go to caster class, it would be awesome as a dps/healer hybrid (A DPS with better than average healer capabilities, seeing how you could get so many different enemy spells.

I would love Dancer and am still holding hope. Samurai I see plausible, I don't wish to spoil with a name but I will say the first boss in the lv 60 dungeon. Anyone else look at his moves and how he holds his sword? It reminds me a lot of a Samurai.

well with DArk knight some of its swords already look like katannas. I think having SAM as a dps would be amazing. Red mage can be almost anything.

True, BUT SE needs to make an expansion where you are able to get 'their' weapons, I need that sword he has! If they need to add Samurai in order to get it, even better but the sooner the better.

Realisic answer: Dark Knight.

Yes I know, but the fact it since I realized I can never be the summoner I was in FFXI which actually was awesome in concept my second choice have always been dark knight.
I've basically waited for this job since 2.0.
