More to the point

1) Sustain: half the casting time as the global cool down. Bio: instant and triggers cool down. <-- abilities like this need to be used in combat, trigger the GCD and yet are instant or half the GCD timer. so that's time you sit there twiddling your thumbs waiting for another action to be ready. I understand Virus is meant to be instant and in response to enemy attacks and not trigger the GCD, so it can be used and not interrupt your spell chains. While that is great, it still doesn't make much sense to have certain abilities be instant and trigger the GCD and others not. Why not make the spells with a shorter casting time then the GCD full cast time unless they're meant to be cast if and only if you need to be mobile.

2) I was just in a fight with 2 Ziz, had to target my Carbuncle to heal them, and went to tab back to the one Ziz in front of me.. my tab-targeting found about 4 targets in the background before settling on the Ziz again. I had meant to return to fighting quickly and didn't want to have to mouse click back to it (so much for that). Why not make targeting more intuitive so it targets hostiles (as per the filter I am currently, supposedly using) then target other hostiles, then the neutral enemies. With tab-targeting finding every single mob as a target, it's almost pointless to use it at all. I don't want to keep moving my screen just so tab-targeting functions well.

3) 90% of games with mounts, this doesn't occur.. was my point. As for you adjusting to it, that's good. I don't want to have to dismount just to talk to someone in 1 town, mount and travel again, dismount to talk, mount again.. etc. Nothing minor about it when it disrupts the flow of the game and your questing. Last time I checked MMO's are mostly about questing and flowing well.

4) Quick search through class icons.. Gladiator - Rampart - red icon. Archer - Straight Shot - red icon. Lancer - Blood for Blood - red icon.. Again, at a glance, being new to the game, you never know what the icons mean and you NEED to know a debuff to remove it ASAP. As I mentioned with mounts.. about 90% of other MMO's have this sorted out already. There's no reason to bunch them all up, as this will definitely confuse newer players. Which was and still is my complain with this.

5) My Armory, and no. I am currently an Arcanist, and all my weapons are shown, not shaded. More to the point, I would rather have anything not pertaining to Arcanist shaded, tradeskill gear/weapons mostly. The shading only sorts out if your current class can use it, and all tradeskill items have "All classes" on them which means they are constantly visable. I'm sure most people discovered Gear Sets and use them to change classes easily, which removes the need to see weapons not pertaining to your active class, so why not shade them as well?

6) While that is true that the NPC's are unique to themself, and the quests may be different. If you accept a Levehest in town and goto the area to complete the Levehest, and there is an NPC in a nearby town, why not turn the Levehest in there? Oh wait, you can't because you no longer have Leve Allowances to accept that Levehest and then turn them all in. Why not make the NPC have a chat dialong where you can accept their Levehest to unlock their quests, and also an option to turn in others (especially when you just completed them just outside the town).

7) That is exactly what I was looking for.

PS thanks for the tip on editing a post to get around the character limit.
