Question For Those Who've Completed MSQ 3.0

How long did it take you? I've been slacking leveling alts and doing other stuff so I've only done the first maybe 5 MSQ in 3.0 so I'm curious that If i start the main scenario thursday around 4:30pm and play until 3am, wake up at 8am friday and play until 3am again, how close would that take me to the end?

I like the storyline, but I just wanna get it done for the sake of getting it done so I can focus on gear and other such things.

    Thank you!

4-5 days. 12+ hours playing. I would imagine if you just focused on one job doing MSQ you could finish in 60 hours.

I started on early access and finished on release day so... about 5 days doing 12+ hours a day.

Around week, maybe week and half given I took it relatively slow and did also every side quest in the expansion possible, unlocked all aethers and did many hunts and sightseeing logs at same time. I also had a lot of real life work to do during that period. If I had just done the main quests I could of done it in less than half that time.

Took me around 5 days, but that's mostly because when I got to level 53 on my main, I switch to Dark Knight, and had to level him up to continue the story, so I guess it would've taken less?

About a week - Would have been faster if solo'd /shrug - my FC and I decided to help LS and other FC mates with less time on their hands to get through MSQ dungeons/trials - and helping/waiting for some tom catch up (I literally ran Bismark 4 or 5 seperate times - once by myself, second for another FC mate, third for more FC mates... and once more for LS requesting help. And thus went on for Ravana and MSQ dungeons). I regret nothing, though, as it's not a race.

Probably would have gone even faster if I didn't derp into sidequests, mainly.... lawl. ("gear gimme gear. Money! gimme money. Aethers!....wait maybe I have to do more to open more Aether quests??") I blame myself.

I took a bunch of days off during early access and a day or two into regular launch, so... I had plenty of time on my hands.

It can be a VERY tedious project and can burn you out, but I found that a single level every day was easy and refreshing. If you try to not overextend yourself, it goes much easier and better. So, aim for 2 weeks for your first run to 60 and it'll go smooth.

Yeah, not all of us who have finished msq are thrilled about it. Remember finishing msq means no more msq until updates.
