I would just like the option to sit side saddle. The wedding dress and some long robes clip horribly through mounts sitting the usual way.

Seconded. I'd also like for the side saddle option to be unisex -- male robes and skirts clip just as much as female ones. And since it's an optional pose, those guys who don't want to use it wouldn't have to. Same with those elezen and hyur (I think those are the races with side saddle, currently) ladies who don't wear robes or skirts or dresses and don't want to look like they're constantly slipping off their unicorn's back... They should also be provided the option to sit astride.

Bumping this, considering females like Au Ra and Miqo'te sit side saddle on the ceremony chocobo - why can we not do the same on Kirin, and the horses?
