Well it's not blatantly said what happened to Thancred, but remember they did confirm that his body was not within the rubble. We can deduce that Y'shtola's spell did indeed work to some extent. Whether or not Thancred made it to the teleport point or got lost in the aether too is what's unknown.
Also we don't know what Minphilia was going to do. Before she left she got a message from Hydaelyn. We can assume she's safe, I highly doubt Hydaelyn would send her to her death for little reason. What we do know is that Hydaelyn's plans for her were different than yours (the player character), and going your separate ways at that junction was necessary for you both to complete your tasks.
I'm calling it now with Thancred, he's in garlemarld serving the empire with amnesia and we'll fight him in a later patch and hit him with a frying pan in the head to restore his memory.
I found it very odd that nobody mentioned anything about her eyes. Y'shtola's eyes are pretty conspicuous anyway, so when she came back all blind-eyed looking, it stuck out like a sore thumb and it really bothered me how none of the characters made any mention of it.
I usually never look stuff up that could possibly be spoilers, but because the story characters seemed to pay it no mind, i was starting to believe it was just a character change we were expected to ignore. It seemed out of character of the characters (and the writers) to have them just completely ignore something so bloody obvious. The fact that her eyes are actually just as blind as they look makes it even worse.
Anyway, concerning her condition, the 1-30 Conjurer story actually revolved around the exact same situation, with the child healing people with her lifeforce instead of the environment. Her mother died prematurely from it, but the girl seemed to kick the habit with no apparent health issues....

or they're just too polite to be like...

A huge THANK YOU!!!! For FINALLY selling the Meteor Survivor Polo on the store. AND a huge thanks to my friend who bought it for me while he was at Fan Fest!!! YES I finally have my POLO!!!
I don't care how they do it, they need to give us a way to restore her sight. Y'Shtola is one of the few characters that has been with us since the very beginning and for us to have finally rescued her, only to watch her slowly die in front of us anyway is nothing short of unacceptable. Especially when you take into account that one of those responsible for her blindness is still sitting pretty on the Syndicate. We even are shown a scene where we are sitting at that table with him and nothing is even mentioned about what he did to us and the other scions.
Welp he replaced poison with a sleeping drug so clearly everything is forgiven! No need to talk about all the missing scion's, not so much as a word..
This depends on if you believe what Lolorito actually says when he speaks to Raubahn. If Lolorito is to be believed then the entire scheme was actually Teledji's doing. All Lolorito did was buy out the maid to switch the poisons and manipulate Ilberd to double-cross Teledji.I don't care how they do it, they need to give us a way to restore her sight. The entire situation is a frustrating shade of grey now as Lolorito isn't directly to blame for much of what happened, and in some ways he actually exercised very careful damage control. Of course it did all play out in his favour but there's little anyone can do about that now.
With Nidhogg returned we may actually need Lolorito's help in unearthing Omega to use against the dragon (since that's what it was originally built for).
That's just it, it all hinges on if you believe him. The man is a master manipulator, so i take anything he says with a bit of salt. And if you'll recall his words and actions at the banquet AFTER Teledji's death, it was very clear, in no uncertain terms, that he was happy with the situation and goaded Raubahn into attacking him, not to mention we and the scions didnt even leave the hall until after Raubahn lost his arm, and it was only then that the braves and blades pursued us. From everything ive seen Lolorito may not have leveled the charges in the first place but he's still responsible for how things followed, as such is responsible for Y'Shtola's blindness and heaven only knows what happened to the other scions.
I got the impression they were just relieved to have her back and wrote the change off as a side-effect of having taken a very long soak in the Lifestream. I don't think anyone else (until Matoya) realizes how she's seeing.
Oh I agree. Lolorito is indirectly responsible for everything that happened following Teledji's death seeing as it was within his power to stop everything then and there. His saving Nanamo and playing Raubahn against Teledji throws everything into a shade of grey though. Raubahn needs to stay by Nanamo's side to protect her but he could easily be blackmailed by Lolorito now given his murder of Teledji. There's also little they can do to remove Lolorito without making it look like the monarchy is seizing complete control of the syndicate. If they put him on trial what exactly could they accuse him of? He saved Nanamo and then simply let events play out without interference. Raubahn's loss of an arm was in self defence due to his attempt to kill Lolorito (and the Lalafell was genuinely surprised Raubahn went that far I think). His only real crime is inaction...That's just it, it all hinges on if you believe him. The man is a master manipulator, so i take anything he says with a bit of salt. Something does need to be done about Lolorito but unfortunately right now there is nothing we can do about him so we just have to play along. His plan worked perfectly.
Or we could just take a page from the Dark Knight book and take him out anyway, they dont tend to care about written laws as is.
In all seriousness though, desperately want some of these theories about restoring Y'Shtola's sight to come about, i can't see Matoya just sitting there doing nothing about her apprentices' situation. I'm not one for going DBZ and just making death a inconvenience, but maiming one of the original characters and primary supporters, not to mention what they may have planned for the other scions, is just not ok.
