If they aren't getting a buff....can we change Df formula to not allow two brds two mchs or brd and mch as dps...it's just so painful.
Ps don't hurt me I'm on your side.

"You can't get the same DPS as other DPS classes, you have too much utility!"
Yeah. Sure. But I will never understand why Archer isn't the same as Arcanist in the sense that they split into two jobs, one being Bard, a support ranged DPS, and a Ranger, or Sniper, who is focused on his own DPS and has no such thing as songs.
Because they didn't... I mean who knows why. It would've worked out better than SMN/SCH I would think."You can't get the same DPS as other DPS classes, you have too much utility!"

But it's not, we only have Bard.

I am disinclined to agree. That was the fun of Bard, the fact you could move and have fun with it was part of its playstyle. Now I just feel like a BLM but w/o the power, and that right there should tell you that the Uniqueness of the class has been lost.lol really dont know why people are Q.Qing nothin wrong to the changes with bard imo.. every1 expects to be legolas these days?? run all around the place n still shoot some1 between the eyes?? the changes to bard now is actually is more like an archer than what it was b4
I dont think this change would have bothered me half as much had they notified us well in advance so I could gear out and get comfortable playing a new main....

Having played both BRD and MCH at 60 and it is rather obvious that they slapped a MCH on the BRD lmao.
If we were to talk about perm "casting" stance then MCH is much better at movement management than BRD because it has more different oGCDs at disposal and able to generate Slug Shot/Clean Shot procs that can be held on like how BLM uses Fire 3 procs in movements.
BRD has... nothing.

Bard was my main in ARR and I've been dreading WM since I first read about it. Before I thought I would at least get other fun abilities, but now I find out they are tied to WM... Let's see. I have the option of getting to use only one new skill (edit. actually 2 skills, there's a tooltip mistake) while other classes get 5, which is a relative nerf to the already low bard dps. Another option is that I sing WM and use those new skills, which results in no more dps (so the relative nerf remains), and on top of that I lose my mobility. A bad option and a worse option... uhhhm I think I'll play summoner instead. They can at least outdps an equally geared off tanking warrior unlike bard.

For the moment i'd like to see them buff the damage bonus of WM, a bit, and remove the 3 second cast time, to activate it. That would at least allow us to swap between damage and mobility, on the fly. Rather than having to stop all dps for about 5 seconds, to cast WM and a follow up shot.
