    PS4 Unable to complete version Check. Verified by other ps4 users

    I am unable to log into the game. The version check never completes. I asked a friend who is also having the same problem. There is no error number. is this a known issue? I was able to log in yesterday and there have been no updates.

    yeah it just does the version check and then "Unable to complete version Check"

    same here, but don't expect a lot from the people who works in this forums they simply don't care about your problems just go and find another way to fix it

    i kept searching for a solution's in these forums for 3 days. i had a different problem before. it stays on launcher screen and shows me choices (yes) (no) (OK) in two boxes that i cant click any off it. after deleting the game(40 GB) and download it again (15 hours) now it tells me unable to version check. i close the game for 5 hours and check it after it give me the boxes again after i keep trying it gets me back to version check so i decided in the end that ill delete everything on my ps4 ( 290 GB) and restore everything to original and am waiting right now again for the (40GB) to re download again(approximately 15 hours) afteer i paied everything they ask for. the monthly supscription paid and i paied for the original ffxiv and heavensward yet i feel that the company dosent want me to play anymore

    My GF is having the same problems i think. She downloaded all the patches and the last one shes on lasst for a while she leaves and when she checks up on it the download has stopped. she dosent know what to do

    I just started to get this error too but im on PC. ill check my PS4 but it doesn't have HW I'm waiting till it goes on sale and SE adds server side saves.

    ...nope PS4 same error as PC.

    Have you tried restoring your licenses? It worked for me when I experienced this issue once. You go to settings, account management and then restore license.
