Solo dungeon = Awesome!

I tried soloing Ultima hard mode. I died in 5 hits :P. I love that fight. No one ever does it because it's insanely difficult.

The first and only time I did it, I did it blind (thinking it was JUST Ultima without the dungeon, whoops, thank you bard for asking) but amazingly no wipe. Soloing that is likely not possible just because of the mechanics alone in NM often require healing on cue.

I think "solo" mode is likely not actually designed into it. It's just "not full party", so if you aren't levelsynced, you should be able to just face roll over all the low-level dungeons. If they did make any kind of "solo mode" it's likely changes in mechanics to avoid stunlocks.

I remember doing Titan ex, and the only ones left was me and PLD. He used cover on me, and we both learned the hard way that doing that will also give the PLD gaol as well.

Um, correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Titan Ex always cast gaol on two people? So if there were two of you left, you two were automatically targeted for gaol anyway.

It's also not just about doing it Solo. You can Duo or Trio a 4 man if you choose. Or try to 4man an 8man primal. I'm wondering if you can 6man a 4man dungeon?
