Time Dilation bug?

Not sure if anyone else notice this but the tooltip says, "Extends the duration of the target's beneficial effects by 15 seconds.", and it can't be used on self.

Abilities like Synastry and Eye for an Eye specifically say, "target party member", and can't be used on self, which makes sense.

Not sure if it was intended to not be used on self...but it makes me sad lol

I think you should be able to cast it on yourself, although you'd have to disable it from working on your mp refresh or it'd never be used for anything else.

I think it should work on the MP refresh actually.. That would greatly solve the MP problems AST currently has.

If you look in the abilities showcase, the Astrologian had the ability to use Time Dilation on herself. I'm assuming it was a last minute change to not allow the caster to Time Dilation themselves. It allows for the AST to have very high uptime on Luminiferous Aether; I'm guessing this was unintended so they just removed the ability to cast it on ourselves.

It's frustrating that so many of our abilities don't play nice with our own abilities or with other healers' abilities (like SCH and AST shields cancelling each other out).

it's an english tooltip error.

In japanese and in french, the spell specifies that it only extends OUR buffs.

And tbh honest, extending our mana regen is not that big of a deal... especially since we waste it on us instead of using it on a tank/dps. Fair trade imo.

Also, in french it does not say that you can only cast it on someone else. Imo it's more of a bug than a last minute change.

Not a fair trade(Or...TOO fair a trade?). And it's obviously the reason why you can't cast it on yourself. Because the point is primarily to buff cards. But taking luminous off it and it'd be fine to say extend a ewer on yourself or a balance/arrow if you're soloing.

The ability is not specific to just card use. It extends the duration of Hots as well. I use this ability every chance I get on my tank just after casting both hots on them.
