SE~ Pet System! Mount System!

While we are adding to a christmas wish list. Dear Santa I wish to be able to fight a boss like "Saix" from "Kingdom Hearts 2" in FFXIV. Have between 6-18 players taking on a soldier-like boss that literally goes insane while he is screaming "MOVE ASIDE", "BE GONE" AND "ALL WILL BE LOST TO YOU" pushing our own tank across the battlefield while we chase him and attack him with arrows, throwing weapons and spells (since we can cast spells and run at the same time).

Hehehehe even though I truly would love to see this happen (Oh Please let me have my wish), I know the FF gaming community would not agree with me that this is something that would fit in FFXIV. So what I am trying to say is not everything fits in FF like mounts other than Chocobos. Wouldn't make any sense that of all the FF series we are now discovering a horse to ride beside a Chocobo! So truthfully I disagree on having other mounts other than chocobos since I have been a long time fan of the series.

I remember reading some interview before the official release of the game, and SE stated that chocobos would carry items. Kinda like a retainer, again with the new dev team this could change really quick. I hope they serve as both riding and storage. Either way as long as I can summon the chocobo anywhere on the world maps I'm sold XD.

That is an armored chocobo too! Multiple mount issue solved. Seriously, chocobos are the only type of "mount" that has been used in multiple FF's (Disclaimer: Atleast that I can remember atm.)

Agreed, just imagine if a normal chocobo coudl wear some badass black armor and stuff... or other coloured armors too, lol the idea really excites me, ADD CHOCOBOS NOW!!

And, with all the gear to deck out our Chocobos, crafters will have that much more stuff to make.

It would help, but not solve, our economy woes.

Chocobos should run at the same speed. Otherwise, when going somewhere in a party, everyone would gradually get more and more separated from each other if some people's chocobos were different speeds.

Agreed, I think just changing their colors is just ...fine.
