SE~ Pet System! Mount System!

Please bring us the famous Pet system and mount system that should have in every MMORPG nowadays!

Let us have Tiger, Dragon, Big bear, Wolve, etc as our pets! (Preferably cool/bad ass looking pets! )

For mount system, please make more mounts, just Chocobo is not enough! If you can only make chocobo, then remember to make more types of chocobos, including a FLYING chocobo!

Im all for mounts but isnt that what chocos are for? As far as pets go, beastmaster anyone?

I am all for mounts, however, I think they should be just Chocobo's/ They could make chocobos with different colors, and different speeds to make them more diverse and the higher level ones more attractive to have and more incentive to reach. They could also add armor to the chocobo's so were we could make them look cool as well by putting on equipment for people that want to be elitists to say look at my chocobo! As far as pets go, I will be patiently waiting for Beastmaster class.

For now though, just make the game fun and fix the battle system!!!!!

the armor in ffxi wings of the goddes for the chocobo was really done well. As was the coloring and breeding various speeds. I wouldn't mind a flying choco. If they do make another mount. Personal airships ala ff9. I loved that one the black waltz used. :3

Agreed, a lot of the appeal to final fantasy games is the re-use of things we have grown to love over the years, chocobos, moogles, mob types etc. This is one reason I think they should bring back traditional jobs, nostalgia sells and keeps players emotional attached the game. Also it attracts more players who have played single player FF games before but not the MMO. I realize that’s now gone off topic but yea stick with chocobos

As i said, it is for everyone to brainstorm, think wider

There are a lot of possibilities for the mount system, who knows that FF may have another type of cool mount beside Chocobos? or something that evolved from chocobos? And who knows that SE saw all the ideas and decide to incorporate certain ideas into the mount design? =)

What i and most of the people who don't want is (from what i read from the posts here),we do not want everyone riding the same looking chocobos at the end, thus we had ideas like more types of mounts (Can we ride on moongle? They can fly right ), more choices for customization if there is only chocobos, etc.

Anyway, I can accept chocobo only, but i hope we can have a huge customization possibilities.

Edit : Yeah, this is Final "Fantasy", we need a Fantastic mount system!

I guess you could count VI's Magitek.
Either way, I'd still prefer Chocobos over anything else. Though if they ever added flying mounts in to the game somewhere down the line, they have Black Chocobos to fall back on and/or of course, the Wind Drake.
