Well SE obviously have a plan for Chocobo's if it were to be as simple as just using them to ride around on then they would already be in the game, there will be more to it than that.

Just chocobo please. Sorry I don't picture a miqo'te on a dragon. Since the empire was at war with them I never seen bears or wolves in an ff game. I also thought mount collecting in WoW was silly. Different chocobo i'm all for, but thats it. Not hating on having other then chocobo as mounts. But thats part of the ff theme. Jusy as much as bears and raptors are part of the warcraft theme.

All the mounts should be chocobos, it would not be FF to have anything else really. Now different kinds of chocobos would be nice.

If you really want to capture the OCD spirit of everyone and get them addicted, just give the beastmaster and additional ability to catch and train monsters just like Pokemon. Then, let them battle other players, or other beastmasters' pets in the Uldah coliseum like in Dragon Quest 8.

It could be so easy, one would think they learned something from past games, but they trying so hard to be different and failing at it miserably. I wish they pull their heads out of their asses.
