Did you register a pre-order HW key? If so, that has expired and you need to register the actual product code now...as stated in the notice they put up the other day:

[Important] Caution Regarding End of Heavensward Early Access Period
The Early Access period for the FINAL FANTASY XIV: Heavensward expansion pack will end on Jun. 26, 2015 11:59 p.m. in the time zone for the region affiliated with your Square Enix account.

If you have not yet registered your registration code for the retail version FINAL FANTASY XIV: Heavensward expansion pack, you will no longer be able to continue playing Heavensward content after the Early Access period has ended. Please be sure to register your FINAL FANTASY XIV: Heavensward expansion pack registration code before this time to continue playing Heavensward content after the Early Access period.

If you were logged out in a HW area when the early access ended and you didn't have a proper product code applied, it may have knackered you up.
