There was nothing you can't get now.
Other than seasonal events, there really isn't much ARR has that is/was time limited.

You have an iLvl 135 weapon to get you through til 60, unlike everyone else. That was the only reward. Also, you'll get to possibly shortcut a step for the Heavensward version of relics.

The 'reward' was having a weapon that'd last you till level 55-57 depending on how you fleshed it out. Even Novus would last you a good while, depending. All the people complaining about how 'Relic won't be Mythic' seemed to believe Heavensward would instantly invalidate a Relic. So very much not the case.

Cuurently no, but the Devs have said the next big weapon quests chain will have (a) bonus for those who completed their relics. This won't start till 3.1 though, so still a few months. As well that weapon really did quite a while, the only reason any of my armor lasted longer was because I either didn't take/didn't get a drop for them.
