    While it provides no solution to your problem, I purchased the physical CE edition through Gamestop, and all codes worked perfectly. Whatever the problem is, it's not affecting ALL physical Gamestop purchases.

    Early access code worked fine. Received my CE box last week, opened it up, found the code in the Heavensward disc case, and plugged it into the Playstation Store's code redemption area. The next time I started FFXIV, there was some downloading and stuff, and everything's worked fine since.

    I know of quite a few people who have a physical copy from gamestop that works fine, it seems it only affects a small percentage of copies. Still, it's extremely frustrating, especially since this is the 4th day of no access and we have no resolution.

    EDIT: If i just buy the digital version off the playstation store, will it work now? Since it doesn't even recognize that I own the physical one?

    I'm still not sure about your issue... You're saying you bought a physical copy of the game from GameStop, and redeemed the 12-digit code inside the game case (not the early access code)? Your account info you mentioned earlier does not show you having the full code registered. Can you try redeeming the code inside the game one more time on PSN just to double check?

    As I had to restore licenses to get my early access to work after redeeming on the web page.

    Mmm... perhaps I'm having the same issue.
    I ordered a physical copy of the PS4 version from Amazon. I (eventually) got the early access code from them, and it all worked well, until the disk arrived in the post and early access ended.

    The only 12 digit code is labelled as a 'promotional code' and an error comes up when I try to enter it in the PS Store which reads something like 'the code is incorrect or no longer valid'.
    There is no other 12 digit code within the box with which to register my copy, and can therefore not play heavensward
    I sent a ticket in for resolution of this issue, but nearly a week later the process is still ongoing.

    Are there any PS4 players who know if this 'promotional code' included with the disk is actually the 'retail registration' and it is simply not working for me, or should there be another code included?

    I ordered the physical copy of CE from the store, and mine works, but "Promotion Code" is the correct code to use. Sounds like something is buggy with the codes maybe

    Silly question but won't harm checking: are you guys using the same regional version yes? NA SEN Account + NA SKU of "Heavensward" on top of the NA SKU of "A Realm Reborn"?

    Ty Sennema; that at the very least gives me some focus on where the problem lies.

    Spartan_pendrago; to be honest I'm not sure. I live in the UK, and ordered from the .co.uk Amazon site, for what I believe is an EU SEN account. This is all getting very confusing though, and to be quite honest, the code for an expansion copy bought in flippin' Liechtenstein should still work for a Global MMO without this much fuss!

    EDIT: I bought both the PS4 and PC versions of the expansion, at the same time, from the same site. The PC version seems to work just fine, so I don't think it is a regional compatibility issue. Before you think I'm crazy, I can't play the game on my pc much because my system can't handle it properly.

    One way to verify the version is to check the age rating: if it's PEGI then it's Europe, if it's ESRB then it's NA. You can find it in the box they came from, but in your case I am pretty sure they are EU since you bought them from Amazon.co.uk. But for others with the same problem, might be worth to check since I notice a few mentioning GameStop and that retailer has different versions in US and EU.
