Adlo is more potent than Physick combined with it's shield, so going Adlo - ET - Adlo (Lustrate/s weaved in if you want) is our best way to get a tank up quickly. That didn't work before because without ET the shield stacked you lost lost half of one of the Adlo's potency, so you'd just never did it.
Great for after big hits, or if you let em get a little lower during Cleric Stance-ing that you'd generally prefer - either way it's mathematically based on potency and cast times our best way to get a tank up quick from low hp.
I see your point. My problem is that I always do my reasoning assuming I have another healer with me. Most of the time, if the tank has an Adlo up it also has one or more Regen effects. There is no reason to top him off with ET, unless you expect another tank buster right after the first one.
I initially was not a fan of ET because of the same reasons as you - its the same eHP. However it's been very useful for solo healer situations for aoe. It's also helpful if you don't have a lustrate and you need to get someone up before a tank crunch or if theres some kind of top up hp mechanic like certain dooms or the dark knight ability.
I'd love if they made it instant, but I doubt it will happen and I'd rather dissipate get better honestly.
It is not the same eHP - it is actually less, unless you are 100% sure you or your partner will not end up overhealing because of it. While I agree it can be used in solo healing situation, I was thinking with a standard raiding setup in mind.
