I'm lvl 16 - How Can I Become A Rogue?

Hey guys, just started playing the game and began as a Pugilist. My main aim is to get to Rogue and then eventually become a Ninja.

On the wiki it says that once you are lvl 15, you can go to Limsa Lominsa and acquire a quest to become a Rogue. But I am still in Thanalan at the moment, doing quests :/

Is there gonna be a quest at any point which requires that I go to Limsa Lominsa, or do I just need to make my own way there? If I need to go there myself, should I go now or when I'm done with Thanalan?

Hey Mate,

If you are Lv16 then you should be close to the story mission which grants airship travel.
The quest unlocks at Lv15 so if you have been trying to keep up to date, which gets you travelling to Limsa and Gridania.
Just make sure to keep up with story missions. The story mission icon looks like flames and the side quests look like speech bubbles.

You also need to have done your Lv10 class quest, just thought i'd give a headsup incase you haven't.

You'll need to get to The Ul'dahn Envoy quest to unlock airship (and ship) travel in order to reach Limsa Lominsa. If you want to see where that quest is in relation to what you've completed so far, compare what you're on to the Ul'dah tab of this wiki page. It lists the main scenario quests from 1 to 15 divided by region (because the first 15 levels worth of quests depend on which city you began the game in, so you'll need to click the "Ul'dah" tab to see the right ones).
