That's kinda lame. FFxi you would never get attacked by mobs while on a Chocobo so why change this.

You wont let us fight back from our Chocobos and if the bird gets hit too much it will throw us off to be killed by the mob attacking it. please think about this choice.
You are actually the first in the whole community i see here against chocobo getting attacked, chocobo battles etc.
