We need private instance housing

Unless you plan on sitting down in their seats and doing it yourself, whining over your keyboard isn't going to make it go by any faster. I think the server stability is more important than a small group making a forum about it. And trust me, I've been waiting for a house too.

This forum is for us to offer suggestions and let them know what the community wants. SE does listen to their users (at least sometimes) and a LOT more than other companies like, cough, Blizzard.

Contrary to what you seem to think, game development isn't done in a vacuum. There's nothing wrong with people having a civil discussion about what they would like to see. There is absolutely no reason SE can't do instanced housing - not only are the interiors already instanced but a lot of other games have done this.

If the servers are really so poor that they can't handle something that less successful games manage with no problem, then those servers have no business handling a game as popular as FFXIV. The frequent downtime and maintenance seems to attest to this.

There literally is no excuse, so stop pretending that there is. You know that.
