Holy bageebus I guess someone figured out that the original ARR sight seeing log was very overly complicated, and in HW they are much easier to find and perform. However, you still have to complete the entire set in ARR to even get access to HW...

If they realized what a pain it is why didnt they just simply go in and remove the time and weather requirements on ARR as well.

I was able to do the HW set before I finished the ARR set.

I must of been given some false information than. I seen in a couple of different places that you were required to complete the original log before being able to do HW.

You don't need to do a single sightseeing log entry in ARR to access the Heavensward ones. I certainly haven't unlocked any from the 2.0 areas at all (entirely because of the weather/time restrictions), but I've already done several in HW areas.

This, and the quest for it is real simple. Just talk to an NPC and he'll unlock it for you. I haven't attempted the new sights yet becasue ARR's left such a bad taste in my mouth that I quickly abandoned it.

I'm of the opposite opinion, they made sightseeing too easy in HW ...

I loved doing the ARR ones, having to work out where exactly the right spot was with no visual indicator, having to work out times/weather conditions.

Now it's just "fly around map landmarks until you see shiny. Go to shiny. /lookout /pray and in one instance /doze." There were two I had trouble finding and that's because you had to pretty much see them as you were flying past at JUST the right altitude or you'd completely miss it - they were kind of fun to find. But everything else is super disappointing.

I actually prefer this Sightseeing log, with the visual indicator, it makes it easier but you still have to put some work in

The problem is that I can no longer access the ARR log at all...
