In regards to the thread/OP, I don't see what all of the fuss is about. More ridiculous things have been done in this game all ready (totem pole magitek armors, gun-halberds, Lalafell-staches).
Yeah dude, anyone who ever favored archery as their main weapon (not only in ffxiv) probably know that some bows are collapsible.
