    The important thing to keep in mind with RNG - it's RNG.

    If there's equal weighting on all possible gear pieces, one thing to note is that there's like five DPS relevant sets (MNK, DRG, NIN, MCH/BRD, SMN/BLM)... and one healer set and one tank set. So, theoretically, 5/7 pieces will be DPS.

    Which is still 1/7 chance that your given relevant gearset actually drops for everyone, but it'll look like a billion DPS pieces.
