Melee DPS the best for Bismarck EX?

Just finished a PT with an ilvl requirement of 170, almost everyone had the 180 weapon and even using Limit break we could only get the leviathans down to 10-15%. DPS were MNK, BRD, BLM BLM. Which is strange considering my i159 PT (some people were still using 145 weapon) consisting of MNK MNK DRG BLM was getting them down to 5-10% without Limit Breaking and had a much easier time downing the carapace. I'm assuming BLM shine much more in the second half, but it's pointless if they make it impossible to get there.

Anyone found a good mix of DPS for this fight that works for the 165 range?

Not a problem with the class. The players were just bad. With iLvL 170, you can probably clear it with 4 WARs as your dps

This is the exact reason we need an in game parser.

Without a doubt, someone in your group was not pulling their weight with the DPS.

This might not be the best example though since WAR DPS is a little overpowered right now, they out DPS some of the DPS classes. Keep hearing stories about how they do more damage than BRDs and MCHs.

Marveth, no they can't. Standing on him gives you a buff that allows you to damage him.

And good war can out dps a bad dps for sure. That doesn't mean the class has more potential dps.

Chances are asmost likely what had been stated already. Low dps resulting in characters not knowing how to optimize their class and ppl perhaps dying to dead wind debuff.
