RPers, I have a request.

I'm getting inspired to - even if I'm not successful - force a change through effort and get this idea that roleplay only exists on Balmung thoroughly rejected. As things stand now, the roleplaying community cannot continue to grow if it's on a server that accepts nobody new.

OP, if you're looking for normal RP, hyperion might be the wrong one. I'm in hyperion and I'm not interested in RP and the only thing I ever see from Tepe from the very first time I saw him is ERP. Even the PFs were all either suggestive or blatant promotion for some kind of RP brothel. I've never seen any other sort of RP from anyone else either.

Well even though the setting is a brothel, I'd say a good majority of our RP is actually regularly non-explicit as many of our members have no interest in going down -that- line of role-play. We just like to have that option open to us as a group, and kick off from there.

I wish there were more RPers on my server too. I'm an avid fan of RP but sadly, I've been playing on Behemoth since launch, bought a house and raid weekly. I can no longer move to another server!

Hito, try to send me a friend request later tonight. There actually is a decent size RP community in Behemoth, you just have to find it. It's mostly FC's at the moment, but there's an attempt to open it to link shells going on. I've met several Rpers on our server, but the bulk of it sadly is in FC's, and I'm a bit too tied to SCORP =\

Honestly? I wish that some servers could be labeled "RP Servers", like Balmung and Gilgamesh, so that players who don't want to be around RP can choose not to create characters on either of those servers.

I also hope that, when they do that, they enable free server transfers off of Balmung and Gilgamesh so we can ease congestion.

What they need is an empty server and have the balmung population opt in for a FULL transfer. Everything carries over. Their gil, their houses, their whatever. Then move those people there. Then open the server after that, as a real RP server. To seal the deal, rename that server and the old server as something else other than balmung and open both.

That's fair, that's all we've ever really advertised for. Just putting it out there though, that it isn't all we serve to anyone who may have looked us over thinking it was exclusively coffee.

To add to some things, there's also quite a few roleplaying linkshells =) I'm not sure if the leaders of my linkshell would be comfortable naming them here, so I won't go posting their names without permission. But if anyone is interested in roleplaying (whether you're new to it or a veteran), and you happen to see me online in Siren sometime feel free to send me a tell or a whisper. In the meantime I'll ask around tonight to see if it would be okay for me to post names of some linkshell leaders too.

I am in the same boat. I'm on Sargatanas, but if I can find some good rp that is not on the over populated servers I will gladly start a character elsewhere.
