It is more challenging than ARR in the sense of the slight increase in monster strength but I would not class it as hard. I would however say it is better than ARR in terms of quest EXP balanced /w main story quest progression level requirements. I have already leveled one character to 60 and am now working on another character currently 52-53, leveling using main quests/side quests, hunt marks, dungeons and trials is enough to reach 60 very fast even without touching leves or fates.

If you hate that, you're going to hate the Moogles muchly.I'm not sure what's going on, but leveling got extremely horrible. I'm almost level 54 and I'm already bored with leveling.
I spent 6 hours talking with people basically saying the same thing over and over (chocobo hunters), getting various random item from ground and fought mobs that take 1 minute to die but doesn't offer ANY threat. I feel lucky when I can pull 4 of them to instantly complete a quest because at least I can do it faster (and they STILL don't pose any threat).
To be honest I like the quests that have their own little storyline (the Chocobo Hunters with the Newbie Miqo'te Chocobo hunter keeps going up to level 58)

... but I hate the back-and-forth to the same spots over and over. It's less annoying once you get the Chocobo to fly. But keep in mind that that specific zone has no less than three sets of quest givers, so you'll spend a lot of time there and in the next area just doing all the side quests for experience.
As for how SE could improve stuff to be more challenging...
More of those "instanced" storyline type of combat would be fine in the optional quests. As far as I can tell, I don't think there are any in the optional quests, they only exist in the job quests and the MSQ. I know some people hate storyline, but I find the combat storyline bits to be fun, albeit they can only be done once.

I wish to say go play another games OP. Really tired with so many complaints.
I think only me who found that this Game is good mmo with casual and solo content.
This mmo is suitable for busy player who still want to play mmo, there are many games out there for people who have no life that you can choose.
Because people who want things different than what you want obviously have no life? Do you even listen to yourself or do you find yourself drifting in and out of sweeping spiteful generalizations of people you know nothing about...?I wish to say go play another games OP. Really tired with so many complaints.

I know its tiring seeing complaints, I share the sentiment often here, it can be annoying sometimes but othertimes regardless of how exhausting it can be some complaints have legitimacy. Of course it won't be the same to everyone but posts like yours do nothing but foster even more aggressive player divides amongst those who may be casual, elite, or mildground.
What you suggest however is also true... Hunts are a good short burst of exp, but in essence they're really just... extra daily quests lol, they give about the same amount of exp and have the same basic principle as most quest (Go kill 3 of X!)
I didn't even think to bring up Roulettes since I imagine the OP would have to be crazy complaining about exp and not utilizing Roulettes >_>
Didn't they super backpedal on that like, a month after release lol?Wildstar is more suitable for hardcore player, I quit that game because I can't have a commitment with my static.

What is your suitable suggestion then?
This is pay to play mmo which is targeting working player, the quest is simple because to make it easier to complete just by killing some mob and the request is straight to the point, cutscene are skippable if you want to fast pace play. All side quest are not mandatory, fate are there with premate party or DF, you can use food buff and FC buff exp bonus.
You can go to Extreme content for more challenge, crafting and gathering have their own field also, Everything is well balanced.
A real challenge is not to be utterly pissed at these God dang Moogles.
IS EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM UNABLE TO DO ANYTHING?
How many times has those little assfluffs lost their damn nuts or basket's?
It's the same stupid Moogle losing the same crap! XDD!
Mognuts Mognerd Mognoob.
Same ones losing the same crap and they always go off somewhere and go "Oh...well I should go back home now"
Spoiler: They never go home, they run around and do the same hide and seek crap with a missin' nut somewhere in between.
One almost died of like Heat Exhuration and says 'I don't think I can last much longer' goes half across the map and almost get ate 5 mins later.
STOP THE MADNESS!!!
They are so transparently manipulative. It's almost parody level. "Hi there hero, I'm a lazy flying popple, please do my chores cause that's what adventurers are for amirite?"
(never mind the fact that they were both cowering)
More challenging doesn't mean "Increase the HP BAR", I've said I can accept it being slower if they are more challenging. Challenge is what makes a game interesting usually, but you can be challenged with anything: a puzzle, a platform section, a mob fight, whatever. I don't have any details on how to make them more challenging, it's not my job, but I played various games when you can die from trashes, not only from bosses. What you're saying is counter-intuitive. You say you want more challenge to "make it fun" because leveling is slow. And you're ok with leveling being slow if it's fun. But making the monsters harder to kill isn't going to make it fun, it's going to make it more tedious. The only thing they could do to make it more "fun" would be to have different mechanics other than "fetch this, kill these". Because the "fetch this, kill these" mechanics are what you are saying are boring. Making them take longer to kill isn't going to magically make that more fun.
If you want to have more fun, then skip the side quests. Just do the MSQ and fill in the rest of your XP with Hunts, Dungeons, Challenge log, etc.
Damn, even the first super Mario had more challenging trash mobs, LOL!
That being said, I accept your suggestions on the other stuff, although you must explain me a bit more because I'm a noob from level 51 to 60, so I don't know exactly:
1) I can do dungeons, but usually after 6th time it gets boring (can be more if dungeon is well done, but so far I faced only 2 dungeons and I'm in the process of facing the third one, after dinner)
2) Hunts: I thought these were only a level 60 thing. How can I get those? What can I do? I thought the Hunting Log wasn't used from level 50 to 60, I was very disappointed not having that available, was a good source of Xp, is there anything similar?
3) Challenge log, I have no idea what is that, can you describe?
If the moogles parth is the one level 53-55, I've finished it today. Not sure how I survived that, though, but I'm sure I hate moogles now.If you hate that, you're going to hate the Moogles muchly.

This is not a casual mmorpg, unless you skip ENTIRELY the leveling and you play minigames only.I wish to say go play another games OP. Really tired with so many complaints.

Leveling is long and once you get to maximum level, dungeons become difficult.
Sure you can play it casually, but not only you'll get nothing (there are many more fun games that you can play and get more from as a casual gamer, not to mention cheaper) good out of it. Yeah you can play it casually if you are a Final Fantasy fan, but if you are not, this game doesn't fit at all.
Believe me, I played ARR with my girlfriend, I'm a gamer since ages, she "started" only recently (well, 5 years now), and once we reached level cap, the big skill difference came into play, she struggled with basic dungeons while I was breezing through them and moving toward Coil (which was very challenging for me too), so I don't see how this can be handled casually. And she even trained a lot, she managed to defeat Titan hard, but what required me few days, required her a week of training. So no, it's not for casual players.
