Is it Impossible to make a Res macro as Astro?

I'm just wondering if this is happening for anyone else.

I decided to make a simple res macro for when I do dungeons with other healers.

However I noticed a problem with the Astro Res skill (Ascend)
The skill is shared with an Arrow Icon. Is anyone else getting this problem? Or does anyone know if Ascend uses a different skill name for macros?

Try using <me> after the action to see if it helps. I know that during early access a lot of people said that many (or all) of the new actions don't yet work in macros and won't until a patch is issued.

Just tried it, it gives me a message that says
"Ascend" is not a valid action name.

Has anyone tried using it without the /micon portion of the macro?

That said, this is a known issue and is in the Accepted Bugs section of the forum.

In that case it's as I mentioned, the new abilities are not yet able to be macroed. Unfortunately you'll just have to wait. =(

Yeah, Ascend is not in the macro list. It's either they forgot to add it in or they mispelled it.

Yeah it's one of the few abilities that can't be macro'd right now it's pretty annoying.

You can't use Ascend in macros.

However you can cross-class Raise for use with swiftcast, but I believe you need a trait to use it in combat so it's essentially useless anyways....regardless on my Swiftcast-Raise macros I always accidentally cancel the raise and waste Swiftcast on a heal, so I just press Swiftcast and then the Raise.
