No Registration Code, Now Code Invalid? HW not Installed?

So I try to log in today. I get a message saying "You must install Heavensward before this character can play." funny cuz i though I ordered it just fine. got my bonus code. I try searching emails for a registration code and nothing. At this point I dont think my debit card went thru. I go ahead and buy the Steam Version with the Heavensward Expansion. Try to log in. same thing.. "You must install Heavensward" I take the Heavensward Expansion regisration code from Steam and enter it in my managing options on Mogstation for expantions. "The code u entered is Invalid".. da hell is going on??

Well, the steam version may have been a mistake, unless you were wanting to completely start the entire game over (the steam version and the normal PC versions do not mix together at all in terms of registration codes).

When I got my physical CE on Tuesday, first I looked for the code and all I saw was a slip that said "Promotional Code", which seems like what you'd call a code for bonus items, not registration of the actual game content on the disc, but that was the only code. I hit an issue with invalid code, until I realized I wasn't clicking the button for the right code entry (there's more than one). The button for registering Heavensward is the big giant button that's as wide as the row of buttons underneath it put together. Turned out the promotional code was in fact the registration code.

I would make sure you're clicking on the big giant button that specifically mentions Heavensward.

Well if i bought the Steam Version. And its not letting me use an existing account because I owned a 1.0 collectors edition. think thats kinda brutal.. I did buy the original and the expansion on steam a bit ago. and yet still cant log in. keeps saying invalid codes. how to upgrade my account to steam user?

dont think you can..might wonna try to get steam to refund it and get the non-steam version

SE has stated noumerous times that if u are a steam user u need steam HW, if u have non-steam you need the non steam HW....think even steam page say u need steam ARR

ps: u cant have Steam and Non-steam keys on the same account

May be try contacting se support and see if they can bypass that since you purchased ARR on steam as well. Seems that it kinda sucks that they are seeing the Steam client as a separate entity to the actual pc version the only real difference between the two is the purchaser...

I ordered the regular PC version =/ I had to enter 2 codes when I first bought the game and then a third code was sent to my email when game was released to register heavensward.

First game ever to make me enter 3 codes for 1 expansion
