What's the best way to lvl up my chocobo? it's so slow if i just do it by doing battles

Well honestly that's about the fastest way. If you are in an FC that regularly feeds the chocobos that are stabled then you could just stable it.

Though I do highly suggest doing your Challenge Log every week to complete both companion challenges for the nice chunk of exp they reward you.

If you wish to stable your chocobo after that is complete (only if your FC actively feeds chocobos) or just continue killing level 49+ mobs with your companion out.

That's really about it.

Train him regularly in the stable and complete the challenge log achievement every week.

That said, it's a hell of a grind.

You can customize the barding with any bird barding you have on hand at any time. To dye your chocobo another color, you need to stable it and feed it specific foods. Getting specific hues is difficult and time consuming, but getting a general color should only take a few feedings. I have an apple green chocobo, and I think I achieved it with Doman plums, if I remember right.

It's meant to level over the course of you leveling several classes and will take months. If you want to level it you'll have to just keep at it. The challenge log entry will help a lot so try to get that done each week.

i really only leveled it through the challenge log.. only got mine to level 10 2-3 days ago
