Summoner pets are not specified to have a specific potency, the autoturrets are specifically stated to have 80 and 60 potency as is any other machinist ability such as splitshot at 150 potency.

if the Tank is out DPSing your MCH, you need to learn your job better, because ive seen MCHs pull out 800+ DPS in an instance without any issues, Tanks sitting at 600ish depending on how much they are MTing.

Meanwhile dragoons and ninjas are easily doing 1,300 DPS with even higher burst while actually bringing strong utility opposed to a few long-cooldown 5% debuffs that are negligible at best and a weak (like half of bard's) MP/TP regain that isn't required at present to defeat content.

its already been proven warrior puts out beefy numbers alongside dark knight easily and Mch just got hit with a nerf so expect less dps now. and hell scholar/white mage straight casting dmg holds almost on par dps

with how gb doesn't get instant cast with rapid fire anymore we lost one of the best tools for our own dps in bismarck ex/ravana ex. im not even gonna even bother with gb on full time and now full time off outside opening. im going straight to hunts and law farming to get a whole lvl 180 set for a monk and finish leveling that in a week hopefully before alex cause as it stands from what it looks like mch will not be welcome coming into alex

Nah sound like you need to learn how to play your job. Got DRKs running around doing 800+ DPS and WAR doing 900+. WAR is hands down stronger than both ranged atm.

Nahh this is more legit than the Dragoon thread complaining that the lvl 58 skill doesn't "feel" like it is reward enough for them -_-

I can see how turrets work the same as SNM pets though as MCH has hypercharge to boost their damage, much like Spur... But again it is much less effective, has double the cooldown and can't be stacked with something like Rouse to make it a 80% damage increase for them...

There is every reason to complain about things like this, especially since it is something a lot of people were looking forward too...

Feeling letdown doesn't do it justice imo.

Except he's complaining about a skill isn't doing what he wants it to, when it makes 0 mention that it would do that in the first place. Someone already said it a few posts up, not a single buff you cast on YOURSELF ever has effected a summoner's pet besides something you specifically cast on it (rouse/spur compared to hypercharge as stated)

Like I get it, MCH needs some love, but that's just silly to complain about.
