When he's awake I will get the full rundown of his rotation, but I do agree that the class relying on the AST is nonsense, but it does boost it. You're right using the term babysitting because thats what it basically is. I'm not denying theres issues with the class. I'm mearly stating that it's not nearly as bad as it could be and people need to relax with the freakout threads.
