Dev, please confirm MCH buffs before Alexander release?

They are still making changes at at least WM, they did not mention GB. They are making it easier to use and slightly increase BRD DPS. They said they will make -further- adjustments after feedback on Alexander. WM is something they have to fix because it is proven to be less damage than using auto-attacks.

Gauss is actually even more of a dps loss, its just we had RF bug to give it some use midcombat but now with that gone, we have the same thing with longer and weaker cooldowns...

This. Spent all of Sunday and most of Monday putting up with MCH not even being welcomed, or people outright leaving the party if I wasn't kicked. While I appreciate at least a few were polite about it, more often than not it was pure hatred up to and including people throwing parser logs at me about how inferior we are to other DPS (and even Tanks apparently). Most Party Finders now won't even allow MCH anymore either on Gilga.

Starting to regret not just taking Bard to 60 in the first place, because at least they're still being allowed in parties. I don't need to be top DPS, but I do need to be accepted in parties because we'd like to progress through content too.

Anyone who engages in this needs to be reported to GMs for harassment. These elitists have gone over the line at this point and are a toxic element in this game. No one (and I'll repeat this for those of you too slow to understand: NO. ONE.) should have to endure this kind of bullying because some clown on Reddit or any other elitist forum decides a job in a video game is not up to their standard.

Well looks like I'm jumping ship to a balanced class until this gets fixed. It's a shame, I love MCH and had a renewed desire to play a combat class I hadn't felt in a long time, but it got killed by MCH being the absolute lowest tier of damage out of literally every class except... PLD, SCH, and AST I think? And apparently they're prioritizing fixing BRD for Alexander before MCH, who has it even worse off and has plenty of skills in it's kit that are just blatantly worse versions of BRD skills.

This is just unplayable now. I mean, it's a trap really; because at 60, for all the time and effort you put into it you're not going to do any real endgame content because people will just reject you. I'll take a look back when they fix it, but it's sad I have to switch to something that's been correctly balanced at all.

I won't stop using Machinist. I've come this far, and I WILL raid Alexander as a MCH. I consider myself fortunate to have a dedicated team from within my own FC who's all embracing their roles , however new and changed they may be. But I am still aware that my role and what I bring to the fight are limited. By design.

All I have to make up for it is good awareness, perseverance, a good raiding sense, and adaptability. Maybe I'll be forced to miss a few Ex primal/Ex roulette/random party busses, but I'm not so fickle to simply give up Machinistry.

It's because they didn't do proper testing! They ran it through some simulations, said everything looked good on paper and the math added up then let it out into the wild.

I've never seen any sort of testing of a new class like that in all my years playing mmo's! And the proof is in the pudding, MCH simply was not tested!
