MCH needs serious adjustments quickly
Well I finally managed to get through Bismarck EX (and I did just fine on DPS), but I get to Ravana only to find so called 'practice' groups pulling this:
This is the new normal and why if MCH is going to get adjustments, it needs them fast.
The unmarked DPS, for reference, is another DRG.
Here's another one not much long after, to show this isn't a fluke. I think I'm just going to catalog instances of this happening within this thread from now on, because it's pretty conclusive proof there is a devleoping wariness in the community about MCH:

This nonsense is why parsers need to remain illegal and why that feature needs to be taken out of PF. We've gone through enough of this job discrimination in FFXI. We don't need it here.Well I finally managed to get through Bismarck EX (and I did just fine on DPS), but I get to Ravana only to find so called 'practice' groups pulling this:

Anyone else wonder what Moogle tastes like?
I don't agree with you guys.
The problem you guys are saying is the class should do more dps because it is harder to play. How is that fair for people who like brd? or any other class that is kinda sisters to each other.
You enjoy that play style so you should do less dps. It is "Easy". That is the worse way to balance things. The classes should be fun, and focus on a play style, and balance with each other.
That is my two cents. Agree or Not.
some players find BLM easy as hell , others find it hardI don't agree with you guys.

same for SMN , managing dots for some are easy and others dislike it
Monk players find positional attacks easy others dont...
Devs cant balance around "easy or hard" because it changes from player to player and even then , some players find X job fun and play it even if rotations are easy / hard.
Bard and machinist are both doing pitifully and need buffs.... It's not a competition between just bard and machinist meanwhile ninjas, dragoons, blackmages and summoners are absolutely decimating content.
Like a ninja seems to do double the damage of an equally geared bard or machinist, they rip through stuff. This is something I've noticed consistently at level 60 grinding.
They are so weak I have failed bismark ex (an extremely simple extreme primal fight) numerous times BECAUSE WE JUST SIMPLY DON'T MAKE THE DPS CHECK.
wonder if SE is even listening =(

I agree mch needs some polish. Se is sending very mixed signals. In one hand saying jobs should be somewhat equal.. ie the Protect spell adjustments and the dumbing down of Stoneskin.... but then not taking the time to see if jobs are equal.
I'm having the same issues with my AST cure pot at 360 vs everyone else's 400. Have two MCH in the party on a dungeon crawl and you feel the difference. Granted I know ppl are learning but we've been watching the numbers and it's not good. And I know the person is honestly trying hard to put out good damage.
I'm hoping the opinion changes hard at 60. I want it to so badly. By the time you get to 60 .. its a lot of time spend.. its quite an investment in exp as well. But so far I haven't seen anything great Mch brings to the table and anything MCH can do Bard is already doing it better. They should be on par.
I know that this game (not the players) is gonna be at some point "OMG why you not dps harder *rage mechanic* *wipe*" cause Se only has so many ideas .. this one comes up alot.
Se needs to decide it's voice on having level the playing field or not. Once it does that they need to be consistent.

SE never fixes a job this fast, but hey, would love it if I was proven wrong this time.
