My account was compromised and it recently had a system data restore, which restored it to a point from over year ago even though I have played continually since then. This has caused a host of issues that make the game unplayable. An example, the job quests are completed and can’t be repeated but I don’t have the soul crystals you receive from them anymore so I can’t become a bard/monk/etc. Same thing with the beast tribes, my level is 0, but all the quests have been completed, so I can’t raise it past the level caps because those quests aren’t repeatable.
I called Support Center Team (the ff14 account support guys and later technical support) and they said I needed a ‘character restore to May, 1 2015.(the last time I accessed my account) They also said that that they couldn’t help me because they don’t have access to those functions, but that the in-game GM’s could do it. So I was told to contact them and request a ‘character restore’ to May 1, 2015. (The last time I accessed my account before it was compromised)
So I contacted the GM’s and they responded that it is handled by the Support Center Team, but Support Center Team is who sent me to the GM’s in the first place. Since they both say they are unable to help and point me to each other, I don’t know how to resolve this problem. I am stuck and unable to play the game because it requires items I don’t have and no longer have a way to obtain. Please help me.
