Ever seen the destruction of Isengard in the Lord of the Rings? Yeah, I'll take Gridania's giant mobile tree monsters any day. ^-^

I'm really liking these additions, particularly Limsa's. Here's hoping they carry on filling up the cities to make them feel more alive.

(Also, the flags in Limsa look really good, not sure if I've seen proper flags blowing in the wind like that previously ingame?)

Exactly... adds more flavor to an otherwise bland greyish palette style city. The little touches add quite a bit imo :P

Hope these changes will remain also after the event. The flags moving in the wind are a very nice touch.

That sure as hell is not epic. A constant explosion in the sky while leviathan is causing fires to go out with thornados as chocobos run around in massive herds while the citizens are running around in panic. That happening while ifrit is ripping the buildings and throwing the pieces at odin that is cutting the sky in half while the while LL is going into eidolon defence mode IX style. THAT would be epic. A red flag texture with a ballon is NOT epic. Pleasant, nice or even a surprising little detail yes , but epic? No not even close. Not even by fanboy standards.
