i've only done smn/sch, and both quests are kinda boring.
The last smn quest is literallyLol, jk, the spell was inside of you the whole time
And the scholar quests didn't pertain to the spells you were learning at all.

Well my character option hasn't changed since my belief was always a bit Dark Knightish to begin with.Indeed, in the end as the dark side said he/she is the one underneath the mask and I like that, the question giaus asked came up at the end of the dark knight story line it was like after everything you have been through what do you now fight for? After talking to your dark side self after viewing what npc's think of you overall and dealing with the corrupt and those unwilling to change has your opinion changed? Or remained the same? For my character it changed.
I know I can't save everyone but I can always try to at least.
There will always be people who choose not to change.
You can save as many people as possible but for some that will never be enough and people will find things to blame you even though you chosen to risk your life over a task no one was willing to take on.
There will always be those that will take advantage of the chaos.
There will always be those who hate others for being different.
There will always be people who view darkness as something evil but it is not so different from the light.
In short the world is always full of darkness but light still exists in that darkness despite how small and scattered they are. It is those light within the darkness that the Dark Knights seek to protect.
However, the real lesson of the Dark Knight story isn't just about how Dark the world is but that one can not simply view the world as only Black and White but in different colors.

Bit early to be asking that dont you think? As very much doubt anyone has played through all the 50-60 stories to have a full opinion.
MNK had a good basis, but felt a bit weak overall, could have had more oomph. Did enjoy the last fight tho.
PLD was kinda funny where you helping someone else get their AF armor XD
All Ive done, so can't say which is the best until i've seen em all.
Well not surprised people felt the lvl 51 to 60 Job storyline to be a bit underwhelming compared to the lvl 30 to 50 Job storyline. The concept of level 51 to 60 Job storyline is that our character is no longer a apprentice for that specific Job and is now a full fledged "Job name" now. The lvl 30 to 50 story had more excitment due to our character still learning how to become "Job name" and had to under go a trial that tested our character ability to handle the power and a long the way even teach our own Job trainer somethings as well.Bit early to be asking that dont you think? As very much doubt anyone has played through all the 50-60 stories to have a full opinion.

Now our character are on their own and discovering new abilities that must be learned through fellow "job names" as equals, through self taught methods, discovery of lost knowledge, or from experience over training our own apprentice.
DRK is now my favorite for the reasons OP listed. I haven't seen any others from 50+ yet, so only speaking of 1 -50 stories.
I loved the SMN one. You kill four Ascians with Deathflare. Not just dissipate. Straight up kill. Yeah, granted they were lower rung ones who's rematerializing ability isn't as good as the big bads, but still made me feel like a totally badass.
My favorite job story beyond 60 was this very short one which had two outcomes and seems to be a part of a lot of jobs.
Do you want to skip this cutscene? Yes / No
Ya currently working on 51-60 DRK storyline now as well but currently finding it enjoyable.
Though it is the classic, "Brother figure protecting a younger person" storyline it sweet that Sig thinks about Rielle as a family since he has lost a lot in his life and his bitterness and beliefs shows it a lot.
Even back in the 30-50 SMN job quests they were the only one with a story that tied directly into the central plot. They carried this on with the 50-60 SMN quests which made me pretty happy. We got a lot of new info on the ascians and how their hierarchy works and I would guess we're the only job to have canonically killed some outside of the MSQ now.
