As far as "leaving" Azys Lla goes, I'm all but certain that the fight over Azys Lla and its technology will be a major focal point of the 3.x patch cycle. There are several major areas of AL unused in quests at the moment, at least one FATE mentions the Garleans getting positions set up "before the Eorzean Alliance moves in", and while the quests that were there were lore-packed, the zone is also shockingly lacking in quests compared to virtually every other Heavensward zone. It's clear they intend to expand on the zone in patches, and I suspect we'll be making sure the Garleans don't cart off anything too valuable in the coming months.

We merely went back to celebrate putting down a would-be god-king and to get Ishgard formally signed on to the Alliance while the Garleans stew in their crippled dreadnought for a bit. We'll be back.

I really hope the WT is as powerful as they were in VI, it'd be a shame to reduce them down to something lesser.

So apparently the Illuminati either think it's just a really powerful robot, are aware that it's a primal and are trying to highjack it for.... reasons, or are completely unaware of what they are playing with and thus their stupidity is going to cause us a lot of headaches over the next few months.
