Multiple FC Airships

Apologies if this has been asked already, I did use the search function and couldn't find anything pertaining to it, also checked the patch notes a few times and couldn't find anything. Has anyone been able to build more than one FC Airship? If you have, how so? We can build the pieces for the regular and Schematic II airship, but not able to -create- it. Thank you!

My FC is in the same boat, so to speak. We're right now working the theory that the current ship needs to be ranked up in order to unlock more airship slots, but nothing confirmed yet.

Same here. From what we understand, you need to get the parts for Schematic II and bolt them onto Airship 1, then when you've replaced all the parts on Airship I and fully upgraded it with schematic two parts, you have the parts lying around for a second airship using schematic I and have unlocked the second slot.
