Level cap increase with pc and ps4

Has anyone seen their xp status locked? The exp status says 0000/9999 with a red circle and a line through it to the left. I thought having the expac auto upgrades level cap to 60. Do you have to be at a certain point in the main story? Judging from the patch notes, it doesn't seem like it. I could be wrong.

Also, I have the expac access installed for PC but not ps4. Will that stop me from gaining xp while playing ps4?

If you don't see the same behaviour on your PC, then yes, it's because you don't have HW for your PS4.

What Neko said is correct. Because the PS4 doesn't have HS and cuz the lvl cap is tied to the expansion and not a quest like XI, you can't level on PS4. However, you will still be your lv even if it's past 50.
