...are there not as many Au Ra as people were expecting?
I still see far more cats. Au Ra may be second highest population on my server now, not sure. But I still see plenty of each of the other races too.
Is it like this on other servers too?

There are those that went Au Ra to try it out and then switched back for whatever reason. I suspect numbers will keep readjusting for a while before they become more stable. I didn't really expect them to really flood the playerbase, but I do see them as much as I see Hyur players, and a bit less than Miqo'te. I do have to say at passing I have a harder time spotting female Au Ra.
I'ma go punch that.
Tank and DPS
I switched back to Hyur myself. Eyebrow issues, facepaint looking weird on Au Ra due to scales, not liking the horns the face I used had, and the difficulty of making the Au Ra I made have versatility with looks (she looks gothy and anything else looks off on her) made me switch back. There are those that went Au Ra to try it out and then switched back for whatever reason. Now I'm having second thoughts and thinking about Au Ra once again after making some adjustments though >.<. Au Ra not being too over-populous kind of makes me feel more okay with switching back. Still not sure what I'll do though. Fantasia gets pricey.
I know that feeling. I'm committed to switching between male Au Ra and back to my male Miqo'te (probably every six months), but it does add up quickly. As far as decisions go, I try to run changes on alts just to make sure I like the feel of it. Perhaps try that, I know it won't have the same gear, but some times running around can give you some insight you didn't have before, even if you have done that already.I switched back to Hyur myself. Aw, I like my run. :c
TBH I just didn't like how the male figures were. just felt awkward in most of the armor and out of place.
Switched from Hyur to Au Ra, just to test it out. Now I will never go back again, don't know how I could live without that race for such a long time
Though I see lots of Au Ras, there are way more cats, indeed.
I see plenty of them running around.
Everyone I know has gone to au ra, it seems.
I see them everywhere on Lich, ahah.

Clearly, the best Final Fantasy character is Locke Cole.
Glamour is TRUE ENDGAME
I wasn't exactly expecting everyone to switch to Au Ra, I'm actually surprised by the amount that did.
Off topic, but the male Au Ra run is odd. Seems like something straight out of Wildstar.
I see quite a lot, many of us are still in the trying-out stage. Certainly I still see a lot of miqote, lalafell and hyur though.
I'm enjoying my au ra but I miss my elezen too. Time will tell!
