Yes, dropping BotD is punishing, but even in a worst case scenario all that really happens is you return to your 2.X rotation and life goes on. Yes, you lose some DPS, but it's a far cry from a MNK who just dropped GL3. It's not like DRG DPS suddenly plummets once we can't GSK or FnC/WT.

I've got no complaints about DRG. I relished the challenge way before they made it less positional based, and still look forward to it now.

But that isn't the only effect of BOTD.
